As a brief introduction, this will be the first of four parts about Paige Fraser.
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Paige recently, she's a Professional Dancer and founding member of Visceral Dance Center in Chicago. Through the next few months we'll be releasing photos of our shoot. Each released segment will build to a beautiful story of strength and beauty and overcoming.
I met Paige through a mutual photographer friend, I sheepishly sent Paige a Facebook message to dance for me while I photographed her. Through our quick first chat we agreed to schedule something. I reached out to her once again a few months later and we picked a date. We didn't officially meet in person until January 30th, the day of the photoshoot. My first impression "Woah! check out those legs!" No seriously dancers have such strong and beautiful bodies I was amazed. I tried not to stalk her before the shoot (aka look her up on Facebook). My initial thoughts about Paige and if I could find nicer/different words to describe her I'd try, but she is the absolute sweetest and most humble person I've met.
As the photo shoot progressed little did I know there would be so much more to her story...
